·   Work through support tickets which range from Internet connectivity problems, printers, scanners, setting up new computers, switches, routers, and camera systems.

·   Rotated on-call support on weekends for emergencies, and Internet outages requiring immediate attention.

·   Set up user account emails, setup Outlook, create shared network paths, add computers to the domain, and troubleshoot through GoToAssist (Citrix) remote sessions.

·   Configure Cisco switches for tenant's apartments and buildings to range from labeling interfaces, configurations, software updates, adding usernames and passwords, to making sure ports are up and functional and that the users are able to pull IP addresses by setting up DHCP pools.

·   Configure Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Points for each office location.

·   Server administration to include auditing, adding user accounts, and group policy settings.

·   Assisted in the implementation of VPN setup to 22 office locations across the country using Cisco ASA's during company expansion. This included configuring inside/outside interfaces, admin accounts, and implementation of a new IP scheme. Implemented specific access rules and NAT statements for each device in the company on the firewall, to include packet shapers, fiber switches, camera systems, and network probes for monitoring purposes.

·   Use Cisco Configuration Assistant to modify Cisco VoIP phones on Cisco UC560. This included extension setup, button setup, adding new phones, and adding new users.

·   Assisted in the setup and implementation of DHCP Authentication Servers, so that residents at seven properties had to sign on to the Internet with a username and password to obtain a proper IP address.

·   Configuration of policies/applications on Layer 7 devices, i.e Exinda, Packeteer Packet Shaper, to effectively manage and control bandwidth and traffic at 15 locations across the country.

        Worked with fellow operators to install network lab for the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO. This was done using VMware to create virtual machines so that each soldier was able to access network resources and study materials.
